The band is delighted to have been invited to play for the visit of King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort, to Doncaster on Wednesday 9th November 2022.  The Royal guests are visiting the town to formally bestow City status following its grant by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II earlier this year.

Doncaster’s Premier Brass Band will be present on the High Street, outside “Subway” next to the front door of the Mansion House, playing some old favourites as well as a few contemporary items, to entertain the assembled crowd and the VIPs themselves when they arrive.  First notes will burst forth around 11:45 and we’ll be there until the Royal couple departs.  So come on down, join us in our musical welcome and let’s show our new King and Queen Consort what Doncaster is all about!
